Rainlanders is a transcontinental ensemble rooted in Scandinavian folk music. Formed after a chance meeting at the Korrö Folkmusikfestival between Amy Håkansson (nyckelharpa) and Patrick Gunning (guitar) from the United States and Albin Ekman (fiddle/viola) from Sweden, Rainlanders brings a new voice, informed by two different cultures and wide-ranging influences, to a timeless tradition.
